Energy Star Tax Credits and Rebates

energy star logoBaker Heating and Cooling is constantly striving to keep the public informed on any Government Tax Credits or utility company rebates on certain qualified energy efficient HVAC units. Many consumers do not know that starting January 1, 2009, the IRS is allowing tax credits on certain qualified heating and cooling systems installed by December 31, 2010. Also, Duke Energy is allowing $200 rebates for certain gas furnaces, air conditioning and heat pump systems. Our qualified staff would be happy to discuss these issues with you.

Refrigerant Bulletin

Refrigerant R-22 used in central air and heat pump systems, will no longer be manufactured in units starting in the year 2010 as per government regulations. New units are being manufactured today with the new refrigerant R-410A (more environmentally friendly to the ozone) and a minimum 13 seer rating. This process is a concern and also confusing to most of the consumers. Baker Heating & Cooling would like to help this transfer go as smoothly as possible for the public. We are happy to answer any questions you have about the new systems. We can help you upgrade your older existing system with the new environmentally friendly R-410A air conditioning or heat pump system.

Money Saving Opportunities

Here at Baker Heating & Cooling, we would like the opportunity to help you save money on your utility bills by upgrading your aging heating and air conditioning system to a higher more efficient system.  Please call for your free estimate.  No pressure—just stating the facts”.

In today’s economy, we would be doing the consumer and our environment an injustice, if we did not try to inform as well as educate people about the options available to them.
